Where should you stop at a red light or stop sign?

When you reach a red light or stop sign, come to a complete stop at the marked stop line. If there isn’t a stop line, stop before the crosswalk so you don’t block pedestrians crossing. Stopping on the crosswalk blocks access and creates danger for pedestrians. After stopping, wait until the way is clear and you have the right of way before proceeding.
